Lol I remember when carry supports were the meta. Lux, Annie, Nidalee, basically anyone who, at the time, was normally played in mid lane (yes, Nidalee was a mid laner before she was a support) was taken into the support role for solo queue so that they could carry in the event that the ADC was a boosted MonkeyKing

I thought Nidalee was a top-laner/Jungler/Support/Midlaner. Make ADC Nidalee a thing and you have a full OFA team comp.

When was that? I joined in season 2 and never have Lux and Nidalee support been meta. (and definitely not when Annie became a legit support pick) Nidalee support was basically the same meme as Lux support is still. Just worse and less meme than reality. ("I don't need wards, I have my traps")

That was season 4 lol. I started playing in late season 1, but had no real concept of the META for a long time. And in season 4, I saw a lot of (by which I mean nearly every game) Nidalee and Annie support.

Pretty sure nobody was called "boosted" back then.

A lot of us played carry supports because the servers were jacked up, and we didn't want to automatically lose when the ADC was just a DC.

Well, that's what happens when you make people play something they aren't comfortable with. Lesson of the story, let people play what they want to play unless it's something off meta. Lux support is popular and fine. Not the best support, but still.

When I asked the mid laner if she would please not be a total dumbfuck meant she was trading with supp. Also yes it is, and goddamn does her Q do a lot when she is full AP.

From my experience ADC players that has been whining about my choice of supp are usually bad AF, cannot CS at all, get caught out of position, do not follow supp initialization, feed and cry "report noob supp troll"
