It's 's flying ship. That way he can use his ult by having his crew fly over there and throw cannonballs at people; that's why they always land in the targeted are and always fall straight down. But Gangplank is generous and shares his ship with other champions.

Elise attaches to it when she uses Rappel, but soon gets chased off by crewmembers wielding rolled-up copies of the JoJ. Pantheon leaps onto it, high-fives the First Mate, then leaps down again for Grand Skyfall. Quinn leaps up there to take an orange juice break during Tag Team.

Think of it this way(in response to chogath). Tahm is a reptilian like personage right? Well in the current world today there is a species of reptiles called a snake. Now I'm sure you know what a snake is so lets cut to the chase. When snakes eat animals they engulf them into their body. That's why if you have ever seen snakes eat large birds or deer even they are able to wrap their body around the animal and slowly crush it, much like tahm eating the champion and dealing damage because it got spit out. Kalista manifests her spears from spirit fire or something TahmKench is a demon who's hunger is almost never sated, so we could assume his stomach has an infinite volume Gragas maybe magic purple beer weighs very little. Darius might have some sort of channel on his axe that gives him a blood transfusion. not that this would heal open wounds... Jinx I think just the question of where does any of her ammunition come from after a few minutes of csing needs to be answered before we face this one.

I would very much like to know how does Darius heal with his axe (read his lore loooong time ago and don't recall that there is any explanation in there). There are two possibilities imo:

1 - His axe is enchanted with some kind of vampirism magic (how did this happen? did the one who made it do it or did Darius do it by slaying some vampiric abomination?);

2 - Darius is a vampire (part vampire?) or he is special in some other way.

There is also third explanation which is that his in game heal is there just to fit the gameplay need, design or purpose (the heal is good from the gameplay point of view imo) and has nothing to do with the story behind the character (which is disturbing as it became such a big part of his in game identity).

I would like to hear what Riot thinks of this. Is there an explanation or will there be one in the future?

It kinda explained like Xin Zhao heal, they delight in battle, and him healing is Darius's will and resolve strengthening and his will to fight pushing him to keep fighting, motivated by the fact that they just dealt crippling damage to the opponent

Similar to what Terkmc said, HP isn't always just an indicator of health left or damage sustained, but also of the will to keep going. His HP increasing isn't necessarily an indicator that he's no longer wounded, but that those wounds no longer matter.

All good questions except for the one about Gragas and Ashe , have you seen Gragas ? The dude is fit as a Fiddlesticks , ofc he can run faster than Ashe .

She rappels up to nothing, obviously. She throws the strand of webbing up, starts climbing it, and, like a Warner Brothers Looney Toon, is forced to fall back to the Rift when she realizes she's attached to nothing. If she actually attached to something, she could stay up indefinitely.
