I tried so hard and got so far....
But in the end it doesn't even matter. The Lincoln Park lyric is totally applicable.
TL:DR, Games aren't fun when you have a full team that remains positive, otherwise, you're gunna have a bad time... Recollect on some of your past solo q games that didn't work out that well, and what you could've done better.
I just need to share this with the world, the lol community more so, but sometimes I just can't even. Recently I played a match of ranked solo q, my team was
,
,
,
, and
(I was
). So the game loads in and immediately our
disconnected. Usually people come back cause they just had a connection issue or something, nope. Nothing. Okay fine whatever, still played the game, got pretty fed, teleported to bot a lot to grab some kills and push the lane a bit. We were doing fine.
Then
gets caught out a few times, it's fine, no problem, me and the
are still doing pretty good. Then the
just gives up. Out of nowhere she just jumps off the deep end and loses all hope, I kept reassuring her with the usual, "We can win!" and "We got this!" (I've been trying to be more positive lately). Nope. She left. Just straight up left.
I still tried to be positive, but it was like a vicious plague overcame my team and then it was all over. The surrender vote appeared literally seconds after
left.
My point is, I can't stand how if one thing goes wrong, or if someone just doesn't feel up to it, the game is a loss. No matter how fed I am, no matter how many turrets I destroy, or teammates I save, there is nothing I can do. I wanna hear stories of some of the worst, or just most ridiclous ranked games people have had. Thanks for reading if you did, you're awesome, have a
