I remember once when some guy yelled at me after we lost a game. He kept complaining how we never listened to him and that THAT was what lost us the game. It was his first time fizz and he kept wanting us to go push a side lane that we already had supers in, rather than join the team and get the one lane that didn't. He kept dying in those side lanes than they would come for us and we would lose a 4v5. If he didn't practically afk farm bot that game, we might have won.

His response after the game was over:

"You should learn to listen to the person with the most kills and items, since that person is clearly the best."

Me:

"So what about supports than? Can they never be the best?"

He left after that.

I'm a mid main, and support mains in my experience tend to be the nicest people and best teammates in general. And although I think a lot of popular supports have significantly less carry potential than other roles, certain supports can be godly in the right hands. I've run into many Thresh players for example that carry super hard and manage to get me fed via roams and timely hooks.

Support players out there, know that some of us appreciate you.

Lol the support discrimination is too funny sometimes.

I've actually had to make the call to take farm away from my ADC that was always dying stupidly over and over so that I could try and carry a game to victory with OP utility and/or burst.

(inb4 flame): By stupidly I mean being extremely greedy for kills like solo diving when their opponent had summoners up + 1/2 hp, or overextending for farm. Not being 4 or 5 man tower dove. Deaths that can be avoided by thinking first about the state of the game = stupid deaths. Wanted to clarify that.

As a support main I know the pain

I know the sorrow

I know the salt of my team when they fed and I have 80% of our teams kills as assists and only 5% of our teams deaths

I had a moment where my ADC (of course it was a Vayne) asked why I was so many levels behind the team. I was going to say something until my top lane chimed in to shut down the Vayne.

I'm assuming that guy was somewhat new to ADC but it was just funny seeing my top lane telling him off.

Well, to start with, almost anyone can be a support if you play them well (I seriously can play almost anyone in the game except for some assassins and fighters as a support, although I'm not typically going to unless it's with somebody I know).

Secondarily, I know a number of people who duo bot where the ADC lets the support take all the kills in the laning phase, and usually has nobody on the enemy team contesting their CS as a result.

Jax Best support

Oh, well, see...you're assuming I play support. I actually play "support". Allow me to demonstrate...

proceeds to save the ADC's ass from dying and then triple kills the incoming champs that were trying to kill her

...and I still gave credit to my ADC for doing a lot of the work. Any questions?
