Zerenza2 votesShe regrets the battle in Ionia with such resolve that she exiled herself from noxus. She wasn't the one who slaughtered thousands of Ionia innocents it was singed. Riven actually has a lot honor when it comes to fighting, similar to when katarina fought garen. Head on, no tricks, no assassinations. They both find honor in battle valueble.
NotSpecialDude2 votesIn reality yes, but I'm pretty sure that her reputation was shot to hell for anyone who knows of her by only her accomplishments. I doubt that anyone in lore thinks of her as honorable. Least of all yasou.
Zerenza2 votesNo other champion has any ties with Riven, the reason why is because she's believed dead because Singed killed both army's with riven being the only survivor, she decided to go into exile because her allies died following her into what wasn't a battle but a complete massacre by Singed.
NotSpecialDude1 votesShe was a pretty big deal to noxus though so I doubt that she's unheard of. And noxus's war with ionia was considered a massive dick move in general to put it lightly. Noxus would see riven as weak but the rest of the world would know her as the leader of an army that got their just desserts. Its probably best that she's considered dead, or she might have a lot of people coming after her head. Yasuo being the prime example, since its implied through in-game dialogue that riven killed his master and basically ruined his life.
Zerenza1 votesOh one thing to note is that the noxus high command doesn't know it was singed that killed everyone, they just think it was a battle where both sides were equally torn appart. Which means if Riven came back and told everyone what happened there would be some punishment (chemical warfare is no the way of noxus). And yes it's implied that she did but they don't go into detail about it so we don't know if it's her and for what reason.

Riven isn't exactly idiot enough to fall for a giant jerk like darius, even if they have being high ranking officer's in common that's pretty much it. If ANYTHING they might have been friends but now it's impossible since Darius,Singed and Swain are all buddies.
