Rumble X Tristana and Teemo X Tristana

ARE BOTH COMMUNITY MADE SHIPS DUE TO SOME THINGS.

IN TEEMO'S NEW LORE, TRISTANA REFERS TO HIM AS A FUCKING FRIEND, NOTHING MORE NOTHING LESS.

RUMBLE'S MECH SUIT IS NAMES TRISTY. AND IN THE SUPER GALAXY RUMBLE SKIN HE REFERS TO TRISTANA AS, BABY, AND SAYS HE WILL ALWAYS COME BACK FOR HER.

ALL THREE OF THEM ARE FRIENDS, BUT IT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED IN LORE THAT RUMBLE DOES HAVE A CRUSH ON TRISTANA. BUUUUUUUUUUUT WE HAVE NEVER GOTTEN CONFIRMATION THAT TEEMO HAS FEELINGS FOR TRISTANA OR IF TRISTANA HAS FEELING FOR EITHER ONE OF THEM THAT EXTENDS BEYOND FRIENDS!

Teemo x Tristana is very heavily hinted upon, though not outright confirmed.

though now Valoran's voracious media outlets circulate rumors that the friendship is turning into a romantic relationship.

Tristana recently struck up a close friendship with Teemo, the Swift Scout. They are both members of Bandle City's Special Forces, so not only do they bond as yordles, but also as fellow warriors and champions... though she outright ignores any questions pertaining to a blossoming romance.

Teemo and Tristana hang out together in their free time as well:

League Champions Teemo and Tristana, who attended the bake sale in support of the Tenderfeets, voiced some concern over the burglary. "There's something else going on," commented Teemo.

Also, mind you that Tristana never denies that she is in romantic relationship with Teemo, she just ignores the questions.

I'd say they are more than just friends for sure, sorry.

You do realize, that basically all of those things you quoted, EXCEPT for the lore quotes are not cannon anymore. And I can say the exact same argument for Rumble X Tristana, Tristana never denies she is in a relationship with Rumble.

I am quite sure that champions relations and any events that are not directly tied to League of Legends and Institue of War are still canon.

Also, only the last part was from JoJ - the other 4 quotes are directly from lore.

And it doesn't work for Rumble, because nobody even assumes that they are a thing - thus nobody ever asked her.

Tristana was asked about romantic relationship with Teemo and she didn't deny it - that's a fact (from her lore too).

Ok, so Riot has just bee rewriting lores and leaving out the entire fact of any ties to the League and Institute for fun? NO. They are purposefully rewriting the lore because things involving the League and the Institute are no longer canon.

the other 4 quotes are directly from lore.

Send me the link, because I sure as hell have never seen this in either of their lores.

Two first ones are from Teemo lore, the other two are from Tris.

They are purposefully rewriting the lore because things involving the League and the Institute are no longer canon.

Okay, how does it go against what I said:

Neither of those events I quoted had any connection to LoL and IoW whatsoever, so I'd presume those are still canon.

This is the official post about The League of Legends. The post contains obsolete information. The League of Legends and Institute of War no longer exist in the canon lore. THEREFORE! Making any and all acts that happened during the time of the League and the Institute obsolete and no longer cannon.

In all of the quotes you pull out, there are two similarities, the use of the words "League" and "Champion"

And would you look at that. Obsolete and no longer canon. Just because something is not directly related to another event does not make it invisible to the fact that it is no longer canon. If these words were not in any of these quotes, then you would have the better argument than I have at the moment. But, until those events are otherwise shown to be canon and not be set in the same non-canonical universe as the League. Then they stay as non-canonical events.

Okay. So does that mean that Ashe and Tryndamere never got married (this is clearly not stated anymore in their new role)? Because it clearly said champions and even League and IoW were mentioned during any info of their marriage.

The answer is - they still are married.

You mistake descriptive words with events. If League or IoW had no influence on the event then chances are the event is still very much canon (unless said otherwise). Simply putting champion before the name doesn't make the whole event non-canon.

Also, Rumble is friendzoned by Tristana, much to his demise:

"We make a pretty great pair, don't we, Rumble? Just me and this dragon."

I think I'm getting too far away from my main point. (This is what happens when you're not serious on the Memes & Games boards). Teemo X Tristana has not been confirmed canonically and only hinted at in certain places, and it is this that I have a problem with, when people say that Teemo X Tristana is cannon, it bugs me as much as people saying Sona X Ahri is cannon. Why? Because it has never been confirmed by Riot. I prefer the Rumble X Tristana ship more because:

  1. I'm a Rumble main (but my opinion would probably not change even if I was Teemo main).

  2. I see more outward affection to Tristana from Rumble than I do from Teemo.

Dragon Trainer Tristana does not count, because as we all know. Most, I say most because we have things like Blackfrost Anivia, Bloodloord Vladimir, and Infernal Nasus. Most Legendary skins, and some normal skins are Alternate Universes. And until we see that recognition with Rumble, we would not know if Rumble was in this AU or not. Which means........ DRAGON TRAINER RUMBLE CONFIRMED!!?!?!??!?!?!?!

Tris x Teemo is only hinted at, and never confirmed, true.

But!

It is heavily hinted, and meanwhile, Tris x Rumble is not hinted at all.

I consider Tris x Teemo as canon as it goes, because except Trynd and Ashe marriage, not a single romantic pairing has ever been confirmed.
