Yea, but he takes skill. Brand and Zyra require much less ability to read your opponents movements, just land your skillshots.

A lot of Zyra supports don't understand how incredibly fragile she is though and get mega cheesed against certain supports who can hard engage early. Without her root she's super vulnerable.

I build item 3027 first after sightstone so I don't have this issue as much but yeah she really can't deal with tanks or anything that can poke her back without a certain level of planning.

Because it takes ages to get it going, especially on a support who's not really drowning in gold. I see it on something like an 0/3/1 zyra or bard and I want to cry. It's gonna take them the rest of the game to get it up and running, and a lone catalyst doesn't do much for you.

Agreed. Played her supp for a while in s3 and s4 with rather good results, but once i get out of shape i fail miserably and horribly in lane xP

Playing Nami brings about some hard decisions...

Do I heal my ADC who's knocking at death's door and kill the enemy ADC/Support who's just as low?

Or do I let them die in an attempt to get the kill themselves? (And then proceeding to clean-up if they don't)

Either way I'm going to get yelled at... For taking their kill or for letting them die.

I have a friend who will only go Morgana in the support role if he plans on taking kills and becoming a secondary APC.

Morgana can not take a single kill in lane phase (just lock down things with rank 1 binding for the ADC) and still be a full caster that murders everything late-game. It's one of the reasons she's such a good pick for bronze where it's absolutely guaranteed that one of ADC, mid, or jungle won't even know which mouse button to click for movement.

Thresh doesn't need to build damage to do damage, if damage is built on him, then he's like a draven who doesn't have to catch his axes because he lets them fall anyways :^)

On a more serious note, top lane thresh is op. The build varies from game to game, but rush a sheen item, and then you itemize against the enemy team. Thresh's utility translates greatly into his item variation, almost any jug item is good on him, and full ad Thresh is also always an option
