Turns out a decent sized group of people were admitted to the PBE because the alpha client sign ups closed and anyone that was signed up to the PBE before testing for the alpha client started is able to try out the client. We just don't get to create PBE accounts, they closed off the sign ups since the new client is launching into open beta very soon so no point in letting a bunch of people fool around with PBE privileges when there isn't much left for select groups of people to test out anymore. At least we can say we were the group that got to find all the last minute bugs and suggest more features before it hits open beta.

I think guys think I mean I just recently got accepted, judging by the responses. To clarify I got in the same day I signed up and that was a few years ago.

Today I signed up for a PBE account. Gonna be honest here I might have interpreted the update wrong, and I couldn't access the sign up page for PBE accounts due to a connect error which I thought was the closed off sign ups. So disregard that post, or most of it at least. My bad on my end here.
