Would be too big of a buff to Azir, won't happen.

Then you remember the cringe worthy explanation they gave of why they won't do it.

Normally I downvote every single one of your posts but I'll upvote this because The reason Riot gave was absolutely ridiculous and completely ignored other points, they said something along the lines of " We want people to get better at league of legends by playing league of legends, not some inaccurate mode that isn't relevant to the game"... Something like that... Which is stupid, they ignore the fact that it would be fun, they ignore the fact that sometimes people only want to practice one thing in particular... They're just making excuses not to make it when honestly it'd be the greatest possible thing this game could receive.

Because either a sandbox mode would require massive servers (and all resources required to run them) to handle everyone's individual games or you would have to allow the client to download the program and code that runs league on to everyone's computer and open up the code for everyone to see (this means easily coding hacks and exploits based on existing code which can bypass the actual server).

Neither of these are plausible. Those servers could be used better to host rotating game modes every weekend (oh look at that, something the community wants!)

On top of that the barrier to ranked would be raised due to the expectation that you have mastered everything about your champ and the game in general in sandbox mode already. (Also increases toxicity when ever someone fucks up litterarly anything, "wtf go back to sandbox mode and practice scrub")

There is not enough benefit to be gained from a sandbox mode to outweigh the problems it would cause.

Now someone needs to take this gif, remove the sandbox and we will have an all purpose Rito pls gif :D seriously though, wtf Riot? I wish to fine tune my items, runes and masteries, but I can't get a good idea how they will do cause no one ever wants to go support or jungle in bots. hell, most of the time I'm stuck going support if I don't feel like fighting over cs's (which is 95% of the time). The only plus side to this is that I'm great in the support role now T_T

They said it's because they don't want people to feel like putting hours of time into sandbox was a requirement before you played actual games........but really...it's just because sandbox wouldn't make them any money.
