Someone else who has seen Katanagatari. Cheerio.

Though, perhaps him using her as a springboard in the second episode might be more appropriate. :P

This is scary. I began watching Katanagatari yesterday, and now a gif from it.

... Do you know? >>

I've seen a small bit of the show. I think she's one of the good guys.

Katanagatari

She's a good guy

The guy that kicked her is a human weapon(short version is that he is a master of a fighting style made to fight vs swords without actual weapons).

Dem feels are coming back now...

They are the two protagonists of the series, but it makes sense in context. It's a good series; I'd highly recommend watching at least the first two episodes.

Now I am trying to understand how the people I keep casually punting away feel.

Awesome anime. The only other anime that is even remotely like it would be Samurai Champloo.

I've seen samurai champloo, and I loved it. Probably my favorite anime of all time. I'm looking at the MAL page for Katanagatari right now, and it looks like it's a lot more goofy and shonen-like. In what ways are they similar? Would I be interested in this if I watched it?

Just found out I need a crunchyroll subscription to actually watch Mushishi, so I've found myself without anything to watch.

The similarities are more surface level. A pair of unlikely characters end up traveling together during the Edo period. Yasuri has unparallelled skill in martial arts. Both stories do not shy away from blood, death, drama, and all the unpleasantness can result from being human.

champloo was good I'm not an anime watcher and I really enjoyed it. I felt the character building and atmosphere for every episode was very enjoyable. I also enjoyed being able to watch it on youtube and not being forced to pay money for some old ass show thats been out for a long time.
