Hi so I was just having random toilet thoughts again and I wondered what would happen if you surrender at the same time as the enemy nexus is destroyed. Have any of you done that? Could you do that and bring some evidence? This is pretty serious as this will be the only thing I will think about for the next 2 years so please help me before I fall in to an existential crisis.

If you surrender, even as you destroy the enemy Nexus, you lose. The enemy Nexus will be destroyed, then the game will travel to your Nexus, have it explode, and give you a defeat screen.
If you surrender as your nexus is getting destroyed, your nexus explodes twice. It (sadly) happens a lot to me.
The last Nexus to explode loses. Surrender votes take priority over hand-crushed Nexii.

Captain here! I've seen it happen. As long as the vote passes before the nexus is destroyed, the non-surrendering team wins.
