Captain Aishi1 votesthat actually makes some sense to me, since in a mirror matchup you just walk up to each other and auto+W, because the first one to try to Q gets pulled and misses the blade hit, and if you pull first to try to set up a blade Q, you then get pulled out of range anyway... so Dshield would be hella efficient in that mirror matchup
Troll for Trump1 votesIt's an inefficient item, one of the worst. You can look up some explanations for why it's bad.
If you have TP on Darius and you want to outsustain, take Corrupting Potion, or, if you want to be greedy, long sword +3hp pots.
If you have ignite and want to outduel or just play full aggro, take Doran's blade + Health.
Doran's is better for dueling than the shield.
In a Darius vs Darius matchup, when they trade, it's usually not auto+w; Just Q spamming. At least that's what happens for me. They get the slow off to set up for a gank, E'ing you when you try to escape. The W is for extended trades. Whoever Q's 2nd tends to win the trades, if both Qs hit. TIming and accuracy is key.
