A rock can resist dropping. You see, all matter has this property called "inertia." This means that anything with mass will resist a change in motion. This applies to a rock, released from rest or not directly thrown downward, whatever the case may be, which will try to remain in its path (either floating in mid air or flying off into space over the horizon) despite gravity pulling it downward. We know that it will never win here on Earth, but just because it's destined to fail, doesn't mean it won't try. (Kinda like Amumu looking for friends) Heimerdinger

The rock in question can't drop.

Must be perfectly on the ground.

But you see tomato is a fruit, therefore ketchup is indeed a jam

I believe it simply states that people/items do what's in their nature. If you push a rock off a ledge, it's gonna drop, it's in its nature.
