I'm all for Senna being a skin to Lucian or a champion on her own. Either way seems like a neat idea.

Since lore is no longer a real thing in the League universe, this could work.

You could make it like smash4 skins for WiiFit Trainer/Robin/etc where there are male and female skins of the mechanically-same character slot. So in the case of Senna!Lucian being picked, the lore for that AU is that Thresh locked away Lucian and Senna(the player) is the one on a quest for vengeance.

alternatively she could return as a separate tortured soul champion aligned with the shadow isles. obviously without her gun, since Lucian has it. regardless I don't see this happening any time soon.

I hate to point out that Boba Fett survived that, as it's a stupid retcon by George Lucas, but the fact that he died in the originals was along the same line as a joke added in just because they knew they'd never do anything substantial with him again anyway.

George Lucas always did stuff like that. People complain that the prequels were too silly, and I agree, but I'd argue that the original trilogy was bordering it closely.
