A Comprehensive Guide To Beating Vayne In Lane
With all the Vayne hate on the boards, I thought that maybe showing them her ways how we can beat her!
Level 1: If this Vayne starts silver bolts (W) then you are in luck! Just make sure you dont attack her, because she will outtrade you with her "tank busting" HP shred passive! If this Vayne starts tumble (Q), then you are in luck! You will miss most of your skill shots on her, but in auto attack trades, she can't user her HP shred! Level 2: She will have her HP shred and tumble. Unless their Vayne lacks the five things on the end of their hands, good luck trying to hit her with a skill shot! And, in auto attack trades she can shred you with her "tank busting" HP shred (W) Passive! Level 3: Vayne unlocks her last ability, Condemn. (E) This ability is pretty easy to work around, as long as you:
- Stay away from the wall known as your turret, and their turret.
- Stay away from the bush, and the wall around it.
- Stay away from warding river, as she will tumble and condemn you into the wall.
- Stay away from taking dragon as a team, as she will condemn you into the wall around or in the pit.
- Stay away from anything in the jungle, as it pretty much is all choke points. hint Vayne can't condemn you if you stay in your fountain, unless her whole team dives you! Or like 1 tank!
Level 4 and Level 5: If you and/or your support has a lot of skillshots, she will level Q, so as you throw out more skillshots, she can dodge more skillshots! If you and/or your support are very tanky, and have bonus armour, she will level W as she can negate the fact you built the marksman counter items!
Level 6: Vayne levels up her ultimate, Final Hour. By now if she has any csing capabilities, and/or you made a mistake such as going close to a wall, she will have Blade Of The Ruined King. As well as her 90 extra movement speed, she will be coming in hot, and you will be moving like a snail! Make sure you are using both your long cooldown summoner spells, as her ultimate will be back up soon and the faster you are to have them up, the better! Vayne also gains more attack damage, so if you do try to re-engage god bless your soul, don't auto attack or do anything marksman related, as she will have extra damage to kill you with! Knowing you won't be able to use auto attacks, you resort to skillshots! But Vayne now has a second of stealth on her tumble, which if she levels Q and W equally, will have a 4 second cooldown. And it does extra damage!
By now, Vayne and her support have killed you taken your tower and taken drag! But don't worry, unless your team is massively ahead, you can convince yourself you always have late game.
