Draft Racing rules
Please Read the following rules. This covers most of the rules of the game (JOIN THE NA CHATROOM "DRAFTRACE" TO FIND A GROUP OR ASK QUESTIONS)
Draft Racing Rules(FOR A QUICKER, LESS IN DEPTH DESCRIPTION SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM):
Roles: Both teams have 5 players and play on Summoner's Rift. Champion Selection is Draft Mode. There is 2 runners per team, runners try and get to the enemy fountain to score points (LASER MUST HIT YOU FOR A POINT). ONLY RUNNERS MAY SCORE There is a roamer on each team that tries to play defense from the jungle and their own base. ROAMERS CANT ENTER THE ENEMY BASE FOR ANY REASON, THEY CANT SCORE. There are two defenders per team that try and play defense from the base only. DEFENDERS CANT SCORE. Defenders can leave the base, cannot cross the river. They are only allowed to leave base TO WARD and may not fight. If a defender is out of base you may attack them but they may not attack anyone back, so be careful of when you leave. Defenders are allowed to throw abilites over the base walls though, just not allowed to be in combat outside of the base. PLEASE NOTE ANYONE CAN ATTACK ANYONE THERE ARE NO LIMITS TO WHO CAN KILL WHO. THE ONLY REASON YOU CANT KILL SOMEONE IS DUE TO THE PREVIOUS RULE. There MUST be 2 defenders, 1 roamer, and 2 runners. no switching throughout the middle of the game.
Scoring rules: You score a point if you die on the enemy fountain, the laser must have hit you, remember, ONLY RUNNERS CAN SCORE. It doesn't matter if the game says you died to a champion. After death abilities do count, such as Zac blobs being hit by laser, sion passive, aatrox reviving and getting into fountain. The champions Pantheon , Nocturne , Shen , Tahm Kench , and Twisted Fate cannot use their ultimates to get into the enemy base. Rek'Sai is an exception due to her needing to have a tunnel inside the enemy base for it to work. You cannot get experience from anything other than champion kills (exception: Bard), not from lane minions or jungle camps. The team who acquires 10 points first, wins the game. The losing team must surrender.
Penalty rules: If you are caught leeching ( taking exp from lanes or monsters ) your team receives a -1 to their point count, if it continues due to trolling, you (the troll) will be put on the hosts black list and you won't be allowed back into future lobbies. Although this is an objection of the no farming rule, if the minions are attacking the Inhibitor Turret ( On the stairs, THEY MUST BE ON THE STAIRS), you can kill them. Only at that spot, and this is so that the Inhibitor Turret isn't destroyed, as it would be an easy-in for runners.
What is banned?: Sword of The Occult "> , Mejai's Soulstealer , and Guardian Angel are banned items. The Summoner Spells Teleport , Cleanse , and Revive (RIP) are not allowed. There are NO banned champions, as nothing is too strong.
General tips: I promise you, Level 6 will almost never come into play unless you are soaking or farming, which is cheating... So dont pick anything based on level 6. You might eventually hit Level 6 playing defense or Roaming, but it wont happen until almost 40 min. Place a pink ward on the inside of each basewall, it helps with stealth champs and just for vision if you arent there. I suggest getting Mobility boots.
More rules:
Escaping to lane/turret protection is allowed. You may also cross through lanes if you'd like but you arent allowed to stop and soak. So you can run through the lane but if you stop at all, its a -1. you must path your way through with out stopping, or else you will be called for soaking xp! NO FARMING JUNGLE CAMPS AT ALL yes, your points can go negative from penalties. At the start of the game, Tell the enemy team what your role is in all chat so there is no confusion.
QUICK SUMMARY: Draft Race is a 5v5 draft mode on summoners rift. There are two runners, who try and get to the enemy fountain to score points, two defenders that try to stop the runners defenders cant leave the base to fight but may leave to ward, and 1 roamer that tries to stop the runners from the jungle. Guardians angel and Mejais is banned for everyone. There are no banned champs. If anyone breaks any rules its -1 point, yes it can go negative. THERE IS NO FARMING ALLOWED!!! that includes jungle camps. You cant farm minions or stand near them to soak XP. The game goes to 10 total points. Only runners may score. Anyone can kill anyone. You are allowed to cross through a lane but may not STOP while in lane, you will be called for soaking and that is cheating!
