Haha I know that feel. I would never wait for 100 gold though! that seems like you would lose a lot more than you would gain.
Eh, build it as much as you can and buy a few wards instead. Then get back to lane, because you don't want to waste time waiting for one item :V
I have waited for 100 gold before, but its normally when I have an item that increases my rate of gold and I still feel bad when a team member gets killed when I do. I just think " I could have saved them if I wasn't sitting here :("
