When You're the Support and your flaming ADC tells you to stop taking kills

I've seen this alot when I play Lux support, the only reason I take kills as a supp is when I lock down the enemy adc in a prime spot and my adc doesn't engage.
Hell I've had games where my adc dies 2-3 times before the 15 min mark, that's when I say F it and start building full on mage.
KS you say, nah I have to carry you now lol

My usual response "You seriously can't outdamage a character with no damage items?"
"Oh I'm sorry maybe you should kill them faster then."
I do this every time with Karma, because I don't trust my ADC with the kills. I know I can carry as a support, but I don't know if you can carry as an ADC. Even my duo has accepted this, and he knows very well that I know he carries 70% of his games.
As 
I generally say something like "sorry not intentional". You know, if I randomly get a kill with a 60 dmg tornado, it's not like I could plan that.
As , you better learn how to secure your kills faster, because I take no fucking prisoners and I do more damage than you do in lane.
I let my ADC die because I was afraid to take the kill .-.
