Are you sure about that Riot?
When did they change Yasuo's Wind wall to be his E ability?
When did they change Yasuo's Wind wall to be his E ability?
now, you see, due to Yasuo's velocity when dashing, the sheer volume of air that he pushes apart is enough to produce a barrier that easily overcomes demonic energy.
We can also look at it from a mathematical side.
We already know that yasuo's dash range is 4.75M and it takes 0.55 seconds to complete
4.75/0.55≈8.62 M/s
now here is the tricky part, we need to find the actual weight of yasuo and the velocity it needs in order to propel him at that kind of speed
We already know that a Yasuo is Asian, but is slightly taller, it is safe to assume that his height is 5ft 10in, about the size of a average american.
But here is the difference.
Average human body is 70% water, but in Yasuo's case, it is different, due to the sheer toxicity, the water part of his body has been replaced with liqueified Uranium, which is about A F***ING 70 WHOLESOME ASS PERCENT higher than lead (about 19.1g/cm3), coupled with a melting point of 2070 Fahrenheit degree or 1132 Celsius), it makes dashing with legs somewhat sub-optimal.
The only safe assumption left is due to his mastered wind technique, he has several jet engines hidden powered by the heat of the Uranium
Now, class, we can't have a accurate data on Yasuo's body volume, but it is safe to say that his body volume is 70 Liters, if we put the 70% in right here we can see that 49 liter of his body volume consists of Uranium, due to its sheer weight we can already consider other parts of Yasuo's body non-factor.
49000cm³x19.1g=935,900g=936kg
that's nearly a ton
We already know a horsepower is a unit of measurement for force, and it would pull 75kg for a meter per second
now let's calculate the force it would take, and the air it would push out around yasuo.
936/75=12.48 12.48x8.62≈108 hp (not to be confused with "hitpoint", a mathematical value that is inversely proportional to a player's frustration)
Now we got the horsepower it would need to propel yasuo through his dash, let's move onto the final step, calculating the volume of air that passes through the engine.
Taking the CFM56 turbofan engine, the widely used and beloved aircraft engine, we can see that it has a 34,000 pounds-force (61 hp)
Approximately 2 CFM56 turbofan engine will be sufficient to propel Yasuo in his dashes, which explains why he needs to get fed in his early game in order to pay off his loan of just simply buying these advanced machinery.
Back to topic, such engines will be generating an air mass flow of 485kg/s, and in yasuo's case, we have used 2 of these engines to propel him through his everyday dashing, which means every time he presses E, an air flow of 1T/s at a speed that propels this heavy cylinder (which will be barely affected by air, NOT even calculating the frictional force here), which already means it will be enough, or even more effective, at dispatching incoming projectile threat than his W, windwall.
Now I know there is several mathmatical flaw here, including forgetting the engine's own weight, and inproper methods of calculation, but this should give you an idea of how much of a powerful force yasuo E is.
You see? This is the everyday application of math, and using it cleverly in your everyday life can uncover a lot of mysteries.
I am a 9th grader staying up til 12 typing this mathematical bullshit instead of doing my math homework wtf am I doing pls end me [sg-zephyr]
You dont have to play league to balance it xD
