Bard's recommened items literally tell you to get item 3850 item 1001 item 1052 item 1029 as your early core.

http://prikachi.com/images/584/9694584O.png I got hit the hardest. I literally had to edit all of my Item pages, because most of the champions I play are either AD, Crit or supports. Spend extra time testing out the new lethality items on some of the champions like Jhin and Quinn (since I sometimes build lethality on both).
