How to tell if someone mains a champion:

• They don't say anything when picking their champ
• They don't make direct claims of being great before minions spawn.
• They use their champion in ways you don't expect.

I typically find when someone tells me they "main" a champion during champ select, they play like poo. I've had people tell me, "Don't ban _____, I main them, I'll carry."
