They should add another vote instead of just surrender. You should be able to make peace.

Honestly, I know it was a joke, but I wouldn't mind being able to do a "friendship" vote to end the game without a loss in the event that someone afk'd.

Me and my buddies talked about this before. We called it a "Mercy" vote. If the enemy has 2 rage quits or a top full AP Darius but wont surrender cuz they dont want the loss and are desperate to try, this will give them a way out. If your team agrees to grant mercy then a box like the report box can pop up and you can decide why you agreed. would say something like trolls, leavers and you can pick the ones to blame and will send a report and they will take a loss, you will win and the people who tried will have a loss prevented.
