This is why I lose when I use Vayne. When I have 2 stacks of silver bolts on someone, it become super hard to disengage.

I think it is optional. I have never not attempted the 3rd one though, so I cannot know for sure.

I remember when I used to try to play Mao supp or Nunu supp. The ADC would always blame me for not suicide leaping with them, and for following them. And now I play both of them exclusively in top lane.
