just wondering how do i post up a gif on one of these threads to make one myself?

Just post a link directly to the gif. You can get this link by right clicking it, and pressing "Copy Image URL" (Exact wording varies by web browser). Then just paste that link on the boards, and BOOM! http://ww2.kqed.org/pop/wp-content/uploads/sites/12/2015/05/tumblr_nj4fgeWetz1qk08n1o1_500.gif

Not every gif will work. Ones from s-media-cashe for example never come up. Another way to get the direct url is to right click the gif, and press "open image in new tab". If there is nothing in the tab but the image, then copy the url from There.

I checked the post you made, and I think I see the problem. You do not need to link to the irk, just paste it directly as a comment.
