so i am just recently getting back into this game and i am looking for some basic information from some of you veterans. i like playing ranged and i like hitting fast, i am linking a video of one of my games. any suggestions to help me get better are appreciated.

First thing to note; when you hit around level 9 people are going to start calling
"top"
"jungle"
"Mid"
"ADC" or Attack Damage Carry
"SUP" or Support
This is Meta, or common rules that people follow.
Each call signifies where they will most commonly be on the map;
Top is top lane, the champions who are in top are often duelists or tanks, most of the top-laners are melee fighters,
Jungle is the tree's, the jungler has no set characteristics in terms of champions however a jungler is in charge of "ganking" or roaming into lanes and turning a 1v1 or 2v2 into a 2v1 or 3v2 and set the odds in your favor to facilitate kills.
Mid-lane is often ranged champions who fall under "Mage" or "assassin" commonly a "mage" does long range damage and stays at the edges of fights an "assassin" will go in on a specific target (Often the ADC) and attempt to destroy them.
ADC's are ranged champions who scale off of AD items such as infinity edge or Bloodthirster they have two classes normally; Duelist and Utility. a well known duelist ADC is 
because of her abilities being single target focused and high damage to a single target
a well know utility ADC is 
due to her ultimate granting Movespeed in a large Area of Effect or AoE
Supports fall under a variety of catagories however the thing that makes a support a support in Meta is their ability to be non-gold reliant as well as their high initial stats and low damage scalings on abilities
while more effective with more gold can A. provide disengage, B. peel off the ADC C. give the ADC bonus AD, none of these abilities require large amounts of gold to be effective which means that they don't need to farm which allows the ADC who they share lane with to farm more effectively.
But you probably know this already.
Judging from what you said,
you want to play the ADC role normally, and preferably a duelist.
which means that you would fit best with champions who are like these
beyond that i can't tell you anything as the video DID NOT record properly and pretty much anything beyond 2:00 is black screen.
