In all seriousness though, Garen remains my most mastered champion. I just don't really like top lane or jungle that much in the current meta, preferring ADC or mid.

Katarina is surprisingly hard to use these days, at least for me. There is such a ridiculous amount of cc, so I can never get my ult off.

*being useful late game

*knowing your matchups early game

*not getting kited

Garen still requires smart decision making, just like every champion. He isn't an automatic win by any standard. Being simple can be a bad thing sometimes, as it means that more complex champs can outplay you if the enemy is better than you. But really, he is pretty damn easy.

That is why you need to be able to play at least 4 Demacians ( Garen Shyvana Poppy Vayne for me). Good luck banning the justice with only 3 bans.
