Does the League client actually work?

Disconnected from chat? reconnect, Can't ban or pick a champ? reconnect, Black screen? reconnect, you got destroyed in lane? ragequit and reconnect.

It's a good client in theory but there are so many things that just don't work properly. For some reason I can't switch back to the default ward skin, crafting screen almost always requires 3 tries to open without having the dark void looking back at you. There are so many fundamental things that don't work. Why can't these things be fixed?
