Gosh, back when I was in school I used to fight over what is better with a classmate of mine, I'd write all over his stuff that dota2 sucks and he would throw paper balls at me with in "LoL? more like garbage"

And an other fan boy think LOL is better than DOTA 2, and in the comment will probably be some other fan boy think DOTA 2 is better than LOL. I mean can you all just stop? LOL and DOTA 2 are brother that came from the same thing aka Defend of the Ancient ( DOTA ). You should just stop fighting which game is better and just check the other game out. LOL player dont like DOTA 2, fine go back to league. DOTA 2 player dont like LOL, fine just go back to DOTA 2. I enjoy both game even though I play DOTA 2 more :) so please stop.

i played both and well ill say this in terms of mechanics Dota 2 is leagues above league. Community both are toxic as hell in terms of champs/ heros i say in quantity league has the edge but in quality its Dota 2 has it items i say league has better items over all but dota 2 items some are stupidly broken .

now this one is the biggest one new player friendly and this is probley one of the reasons league has a over all bigger community than dota 2 is cause its easy for new players to come in and league the mechanics while in dota learning the mechanics takes alot longer than league not to mention alot more mechanics than in league.

so in short if you want a moba that basicly dark souls go to Dota 2 if you want a more player friendly moba play league.

This I can get behind. I play both games and I enjoy both of them, but I do play a lot more League since games tend to feel faster and I like the character roster a bit more. However, Dota 2 does have interesting items, like an item that increases the range of your abilities, and heroes that I find fun to play like Chaos Knight, or the recent Underlord. Now do I completely agree with some of these heroes? No a lot of them do feel like bullshit, but at the same time League has this with like Yasuo Shaco LeeSin Fizz . The same thing I can say for some of the mechanics and items in both games, I like some but hate others.

Bottom line: both games are fairly well made IMO. If you like League, like it. If you like Dota, like it. If you're like me and possibly many others out there who like both, great. Just stop trying to push or argue with people that your game is better like you're in a "my dad is better than your dad" contest.

As an ex-DOTA player, both the games have their merits and demerits (DOTA has Slark, League has Fizz). League champions are way more fun than DOTA champions (for me at least), and League has Syndra and Lux. Also, league skins are much better.
