I used to just walk straight up top lane and summoner 14 my opponent. To 'gain an advantage over them.' Like not even all-in or anything, just level 1, walk to lane, ignite, continue to lane as normal. This was back when there was a mastery that gave like 5 ad/ap while ignite was on cooldown..but still...holy crap old self, Y U DO THIS?

I used to jungle even in ranked with no smite. Because the extra damage from ignite made my ganks more successful.

In my defence i still feel there was some truth to this back in season 1 at lower elo. because only maybe 1/100 games at that elo would result in a baron/dragon steal and jungle clears were so fast back then. Also global range ultis were the bane of my existence.

I feel a lot of the practices people adopt at low elo as a way of mimicing the best players don't work if you can't also understand why they make those choices and whether it will fit your playstyle and the people you are playing with.

Yeah, it only worked before because of the insane scaling on her ult and her q at the time. That was back when w was just a skill modifier, you used it to empower one of her other spells. Those were funny times, especially because if you went AP you could make Shunpo a nuke.

I figured it was at least after her kit was changed. I was just saying that at one point people expected AD kat.

Oh well still better then the first time i played, i had no idea what was going and couldn't figure out why i had to walk back to base to buy or heal.

Eh, it wasn't really the good old times. It was utter chaos. Then again that was partly why it was so fun, toxicity was low and people were just playing for fun and experimenting instead of the try hard gotta be the best and carry the team that is prevalent today.

I remember thinking runaans was the best item ever because it doubled your damage output (the two smaller bolts did half damage so your autoattacks do twice as much). This was also back in season 3 when it just gave you 70% attack speed and the two bolt passive and remember rushing it on veigar then getting regular ap items and realising my mistake.

I have no idea why, it's literally the most stupid thing I have ever done in any game, but I would buy nothing except for daggers, and always go Kayle. I've helped a lot of friends get into league when they wanted to try it, but not a single one was as bad as I was. Didn't even buy boots or a single ward.

wayy back in early season 2 went ad kennan alot, thought i was so cool i that i could use my e and go so fast (same with voli) when i was viegar i thought i was so good because i had more ap than ad always took tp to get to lane faster to hide in that bush to hopfully kill someone and barrier, i thought flash was usless because of such a long cooldown for such a short range, took me to level 20 then my friends said it was actually good,

From summoner level 1 until level 13 I only played teemo, and I always rushed Malady straight into Wit's End, figuring with my insane attack speed + blind on Q and mana drain on Wit's End (ahh old mechanics RIP) that I was unbeatable.

Then I found out I wasn't. Thank you Innervating Locket Udyr ... shivers

2010 was a fun year for me in league, I fell in love with the game and community simultaneously due to the fact that 80% of people playing the game were sincerely new and as such the atmosphere was completely alien to that of what new players face today.
