its inefficient when building a mass to spend the energy to make a cube. A sphere is just equal force generated from a central point in all directions equally. Making a cube requires more energy to be used and exact shaping. odds are that she would make a distorted Rhombohedron which would kill people, but only cause they would be laughing to hard.

Also she is a gravity mage, gravity pulls at all things equally.

A few things:

It's a stable form of condensed magic.
She feels no attachment to them, aka she doesn't care to make different. She is capable of doing it, however.
Initial summoning causes damage by sapping magic out of surrounding area, shape doesn't matter.
