I am looking at it from a slightly different angle. People doubted those actors because they didn't think they could pull off the role. My trepidation is not in the actor's ability, it is in the direction it appears the role is being taken.

The Lex Luthor that is being portrayed in the trailers comes across as a little goofy and somewhat insane rich kid. That's what makes me nervous. It is completely different from the strong exceptionally intelligent businessman who had a commanding presence that we have seen in the past.

I am not saying I think it will be bad, I am very excited to see it and hope that it is great. I am not going to judge the movie until it is out. I just don't like seeing things in trailers that cause me to worry before the movie is even out.

I guess it all depends on personal preference. The Winter Soldier is one of my favorite Marvel movies and Civil War looks like it has the same tone and feel as the last one. Plus the same people who made WS are making CW so I guess if you didn't like the last one then this one isn't for you. From the trailers it does look like it will be one of the most emotional marvel movies we have seen yet.

Not sure what you are meaning. There are two more Avenger movies slated to come out in the next couple years. Marvel has also announced additional movies for characters such as Thor, Dr Strange, Black Panther and ect.

Well they won't be the full avengers because civil war is all about the avengers fighting each other.

Possibly, I mean if they are going off the comics then we would probably only see one very significant member die.

I am not saying I know what will happen, but I think it is safe to assume that Civil War will not be this blood bath that leaves only a couple avengers alive. I think it is much more likely that one maybe two characters are killed and the rest are forced to reunite in order to face Thanos.

Plus we will be seeing new additions in the coming avengers movies such as Dr Strange, Captain Marvel, and maybe even Spiderman. So it would make sense to remove a character or two so as not to over bloat the next Avengers Movies.

Have you read the frank miller versions of the dark knight returns? Bc if im not mistaking the movie is based on those comics. So it shouldn't suck. All they have to do is just stick to the script.
