Wits end is okay on shen. Titanic hydra without hp is a terrible choice though. At that point he'd gave been better off with ravenous hydra.
*edit allow me to explain his thought process. Titanic hydra allows cleave which would stack wits end on all of his enemies and make his sunfire more effective while giving hp back and then he could finish off with his Q because it does magic damage. There are better ways to do that. You should help him out. He wanted to be a tanky bruiser by way of auras.

On hit shen is fun though.
Kinda bad, but fun.
See the problem is he has two damage items and one tank item, I'm not counting boots he should rush sunfire since it's a great all around item with split pushing, tiamet also helps split pushing but he would have been so much better off with something like zzrot as it makes him tanker and helps lane keep pushing, you don't need to damage items a late thornmail after he got health and Mr would have covered it
But he was tilted AF so*[zombie-brand-facepalm]* this was me

My friend basically did this with Ezreal. He'd been losing a bunch, started playing Ezreal, kept losing, asked me for tips and I played a game with him with EVERY. SINGLE. SUPPORT. and told him what to look for each support doing, what a not-so-skilled player on that support might do instead, and how to play with that. And of course, how enemy matchups went as well. About 8 supports in he started doing really well, then I see in his match history he'd built things like Shiv and Duskblade and I told him not to buy those, he played two more games normally and then just gave him up for Sivir and fed his ass off from Silver 2 down to Silver 5. I will never understand that man.
