My sister is a flutist (or flautist, depending on how you say it) so I'm aware of Quantz because of his flute concertos. Still prefer Reinecke in terms of flute composers, but I guess that's because I prefer Romantic era.

I am a flutist too but sadly never got to play any baroque pieces on the flute due to the marching band I was in xD... Speaking of that I should actually pull some songs off of the internet (Legally) and play them because I am sure my dad would love to hear me practicing...
