I FIGURED IT OUT RIOT

I finally understand the universe of Runeterra, and it's absolutely awful. but not why you think.

back to when there was those journal of justice entries, where each champion was interviewed to see what their motivations for joining the league were. or in cases where they just straight up captured wild creatures and celestial beings and forced them to stay with the league using spells. well, those mage's that captured all the void creatures, I believe they have turned the league of legends into one of two things: either the league is a prison where beings of incredible strength and might are captured and held against their will to be studied, tested, and used as entertainment in the form of summoners rift....OR that now it is a camp used to house those individuals and feed into their own individual dreams and wishes in order to record what happens and change it or reset it. they can reset the day for these champions. and each new match they reset their day and continue on that same path just as their story in the lore set them up to follow.

these summoners are very sick people. I'm on to your shit riot.
