If you don't do something until asked, you weren't really willing to do it, you're just doing it because someone asked you to.

If you get punished for not doing it and are forced to (autofill, losing lp if you don't cooperate [unless you have a teammate who swaps for you]) then it's not willing

Meep Man1 votesI'll play Support, but only if someone else wants my role. I usually lock in Top or Mid, but if my Support wants one of those, I'll let them have it if they aren't a jerk about it unless I have a reason to really want to play Top or Mid.
Eeyore1 votesI have a premade with like 3 people who would prefer to play support, and none of us secondary top lane. We generally divide ourselves among jungle, mid and support, and generally have high utility picks in mid and jungle.

It is worth it to take the time to learn the role. Especially now that autofill exists.
