Try not to binge watch Attack on Titan. See if you can do it.

SAO = Sword Art Online. A really popular anime that has shit plot and terrible character development but ridiculously good production quality.

You forgot about the horribly polarized viewer-base who tend to either idolize the anime or despise it with every fibre of their being.

I remember the forum wars. They were horrible.

When you are in the middle of your finals and realize that you have already watched three series and read about 30 volumes of a light novel over the course of maybe 5 days.

I managed to get over 90% on those exams, but I did not realize how much I could cram into a few days off when procrastinating.

As a side note, Katanagatari and the Monogatari Series are amazing and FLCL was oddly entertaining.

The Monogatari Series is the best series I've ever seen, and I'll hold that claim 'till my death. FLCL is nice, but it's WAY too old and worn-down. It can't compete with modern anime as it is. I've never seen Katanagatari since its name reminds me of all the Monogatari anime, so I would probably unfairly compare it to the Monogatari series subconsciously.
