Actually, while "The Americas" refers to a hemisphere, and "North America" and "South America" refer to continents, "America" is a nickname for a nation. It is the same as shortening The People's Republic of China to China.

in brazil we dont have a lot of patriotism also, hell, half of the people i meet just wanna leave brazil and live in usa or europe

idk seems to me that if people on germany start to be way too patriot they could be mistaken by nazist and be perma-banned off the server...i mean country.

Yeah, that's why they've been hard-wired to NOT be proud of their country... kind of sad, since Germany has a lot of good qualities. They shouldn't be overshadowed by one (albeit major) problem in their past.
