I like to imagine that when a champ is about to get nerfed into obscurity, it plays out like the end of The Shining. Jack Nicholson (the champion about to be nerfed) is chasing his son through a maze (the rift). Then the nerfs start coming in hard and he freezes to death. The scene ends with the now nerfed champion's (in this case, Wukong) face somehow in a photo taken decades ago, there to remain in obscurity until a rework.
