You might not be playing Soraka right if you can't farm a wave with one q.
Then you get a kill and they congratulate your ADC...
We must not have the same build, because when my adc leave I just hope he'll never come back and that this is my chance to 1v2 carry once more :D. I won a few 4v5 with my adc afk.
You're obviously playing 
wrong if you aren't maxing Q first.
Soraka main for about 6 months, can confirm.
Idk....Sona, Janna, Taric, Braum, Leona are FAR worse off.
Here you go 5/2/25 last game and my adc was afk until I hit the level 13. I was a bit scared he'd steal my cs and give free kills. :P

you last hit? i dont get it. Its not like your base AD is any more or less compared to other mages. lol If you're one of those supps that spams aoes and misses cs I laugh at you because you're wasting mana.
I'm a lot more worried when playing soraka that my adc is going to ask me to freeze the lane in front of tower while he backs... you die soooooo fast and cant even shield yourself (janna/thresh/naut) or just just walk it off (ali). If I'm looking down even one person in my lane I'm terrified to try to freeze lane before tower as her lol.
Every single time.
Whenever I play Soraka or Lulu, I get an emotional attachment to my adc...
