I try to be positive, but the new mobile site is pretty useless.

I'm so glad that they have it stick to full or mobile rather than switching between one or the other every single page...............on the PBE boards.

It's certainly a work in progress.

The features that I'll look forward to the most:

  • Respecting the browser's "Request Desktop Site" option (fixes having to select Desktop version every page)
  • Begin able to see Upvotes/downvotes in mobile view
  • Being able to see Rioter Response in portrait view (to be honest, it doesn't show up in Landscape on my Nexus 5 unless I hide my on-screen buttons)
  • Being able to reply in mobile view.
  • Normalized margins. Right now, I have extremely wide margins on the Boards Home (too wide), and significantly smaller margins on the thread pages.

Some things I'd love to see removed in mobile view:

  • "125 NEW" I don't care how many people posted random crap in the comments for the patch notes. To me, the way they implemented "New" posts is a waste of time and space on these boards. Maybe I'm an outlier here though.
  • Remove links to the poster on Boards Home. I have never, not once, clicked on someones name from the Boards Home intentionally. I'll do it from within a post (usually to get to their match history, only once or twice to actually see what other posts they've made), but never from the Boards Home.
  • Remove links to the different boards from the Boards Home topics. There's a sub menu dedicated to links to these boards, we don't need additional links where they're more likely to cause us to mis-click.

Every. Single. Time. This is heretical.

I can't find the rate button, the text is too large and always makes me want to switch to full site, it feels crowded.

I mean dont get me wrong, its nice to show us what they are working on for a mobile version of the site. But i really have to think who thought it was a good idea to have us test it in that format which is just causing more irritation than anything else. I mean its a step forward because ill admit the forum format before was pretty bad. Sometimes when i viewed the forum on my phone text wouldnt appear. i couldnt up/down vote topics, some times even replying was difficult. But they really should have made something a little bit more stable for us to use in the mean time!

Is there even a way to comment/reply on the mobile site? I swear I've looked everywhere for it and just end up going back to the full site.

Not to mention I don't believe it's possible to disable, can't even upvote from the mobile beta.
