The OG TTL didn't have bots
Nostalgia is shit thing. TT did have bots back then. Maybe not as many, but they were there.

Not really. Was almost as popular as Dominion.
What they need to do is either remove TT or rework it. The problem aren't the bots. The bots are a consequence of a shit game mode. If more people played TT, you'd have less bots per human and more of them would be reported by said players. Why don't more people play TT then? Because it's in a shit state. Fix TT and, maybe, more players join in.

Original Twisted Treeline was spooky, eerie, and nostalgic. It was a time where many of us were new to the game as well, as we try out crazy builds. I remember thinking that it was home of Shaco and Fiddlesticks. Friends and I played 3v3's the most back in the day in Season 2 and 3 before they changed it. And now its gone. Just like Dominion. Just like rotating game mode. Someday, eventually Summoners Rift will be gone too, along with the company and all champions, commodities, websites and media.
We had fun though, so not all will be lost.
