Yeah... I am normally the guy pinging too late. I will ping whenever I don't know where they are, because I thought they were roaming when they were warding. But the one time I think they are just placing a ward, they are killing my mid laner. #BronzeLife

I used to do that a lot. Now, whenever my enemy laner is gone for more than 5 seconds, I ping mia at least twice (mostly to actually warn my team, but also to absolve myself of any blame), because I've even been in situations where I'll ping mia, and somebody else will still die and complain that they didn't see me ping.

I ALWAYS do three pings. "Enemy ward there", Three danger pings "Going to solo Dragon", Three OMW pings "Help me with Dragon/Baron", Three Assist Me pings "Enemy mia", Thee Enemy Missing pings. You get the idea.

That's quite similar to my system: "Noob omg wat ru doing??" Eight Retreat Pings "OMFG gank plz noob jg!!!" Eight Assist Me pings "Ally is in base for 50 seconds at start" Danger pings until they come back "Lane is mia" One single blue ping

I am usually yelled at for pinging late as well. Still, I do my best to alert everyone as soon as I notice they're missing. x3

I ping quite often, but never more than twice. If I notice someone in the river, I ping danger even if everyone can see it because of a ward. If someone is gone for more than a few seconds, I ping missing. It doesn't matter if they're warding or if they're just hanging back in of fog of war. It's a lot faster than typing, though I do type sometimes if I feel someone hasn't seen my pings.

One time I was mid against an Ahri and she went missing so I pinged. I noticed her in the river heading top and pinged that and typed "Ahri heading top." Meanwhile: Ahri Double Kill

When somebody pings danger because there's a dude standing on your own ward, but then pings 10 more times and you get ganked in the middle of writing "shut up" in the chat.

I'm not sure who's at fault here. The dude that pinged, myself because I was using the chat or Riot for being douchebags for not letting me mute pings of that asshole.

MIA pings are great and all, but I try to survive by the simple act of... watching my own mini map.

Laning is a frustrating phase, full of ups and downs, and it requires a lot of concentration... but take a moment to look at your freaking map for yourself and say "where did the 6/0 darius go? and could he be in my top side brush?"

or better yet, when you are shoving your lane, harassing your opponent(s) and having a grand old time, but forgetting to place wards because you are too busy farming and being amazing... please take a moment to look at the map and say "is the enemy jungler ganking another lane? could he be ganking mine in the next 2 seconds?" If you are unsure about it.......
