Meh I'm reluctant to ever accuse people of smurfing. Some people have really bad games every now and then, and sometimes people just have ungodly awesome games where everything works in their favour. I've had games on both ends of the spectrum.

I was bad then and I'm still pretty bad now, but just because someone does well in a game doesn't mean they're some pro player.

That's not the problem. People can go 15/1 if they're lucky, you can tell if someone is smurfing by how they play.

Besides the reason of smurfing doesn't matter you're still smurfing. If a friend wanted to play with you it should have been in normals and if in ranked he might as well say "I don't want to take the time to win so can I get some wins from you?"

One person in the game isn't going to change the failures of the other four players. I've played against quite a few smurfs in lane 1v1 and I can tell you that a lot of them are very nice and even give you one kill.
The only thing that ruins games is the team bad choices. Everything else is an excuse.
