Ramped into one of the bases on Vahalla on a mongoose. Mid flight I bailed and the momentum of me pushing off the mongoose caused it to fly off to the side and hit the guy who was trying to dodge me.

I immediately died after because I was so dumbstruck by how I got a splatter kill while not actually being on a vehicle...

I've played so much halo 2 and 1 I know all of the secrets. Halo 2 was fun for showboat kills though. Get sword, have sticky, lunge with sword and use sticky to cancel. "woo! I survived! wait, what is that glowing blue thin..."

Played my share of Halo and never got as close as pulling something like that.

In fact, sometimes I forget that grenades work on map spawned weapons. (usualy it only happens on dropped weapons)
