Hey guys, hope you like the video. But ey, if you guys wanna try this at home, make sure not to buy relic as first item! Go for machete first and then Relic. I like that idea of building relic into taragon as jungler a lot. You have so many benefits, here are some:

You pay 350 gold and in about 7~8 minutes you will get it back and even have more then you have spent

You can actually build red/blue smite and still have the warding option, which is really really good.

The quest is now 500 gold, 250 gold cheaper than last patch, and the relic shield line was not made more difficult to complete while killing the jungle.

Also you can tax lanes without getting flamed by the laners, complaining about taking Gold away from them.

Your math is wrong buddy. You only generate 2 gold per 10 seconds (12 gold per minute) with relic shield when you use it in the jungle, unless you utilize Bandit (which generates the most gold). Assuming you don't gank a lane at all, all you get in 8 mins is 96 extra gold. If you gank a lane lets say 8 times in 8 minutes (very ambitious estimate), and spend around 10 secs near an ally, you generate 10 gold per 5 secs from hitting the enemy laner as a melee champ (20 gold per gank, 160 gold in 8 mins) and for every minion killed by your ally (lets say 5 minions per gank, so its 40 minions total) you get 1 gold, which adds up to 40 gold in 8 mins. Adding this all up, 96+160+40=296. So, even with an ambitious ganking effort with a gank per minute, the item still doesn't pay itself off in 8 mins. You will barely break even at 10 mins. However, I agree with the other benefit of it, warding. I think it would have an impact overall later in the game, not in the first 10 mins. Thank you for an interesting idea.
