Hey guys. Here is a "short" reaction video to one from SKyWilliams, dealing with some female streamers and twitch. It's a subject that affect me in a pretty strong way, I feel concerned and wanted to share my thoughts. Feedback will be greatly appreciated and I'm curious about your position about this point.

I agree with you 100%! I'm not a girl, but what is sad is that I have actually had this thought, "I kinda want to start uploading videos on Youtube or streaming on twitch, but I'm not really that good, .. and I'm not a girl, .. so i probably wouldn't get very popular."

Seriously? I mean that could seem sexist, but it's a sad fact. That's what seems to be popular right now on Twitch.

Being a girl only is not sufficient. You have to be a girl AND be sexy AND try to appeal at viewers. Just because you are a girl doesn't make things easier, but it give you the choice to use your body or not. As a male I'm not sure you have this option. But you don't need to be very good to become popular, if you have a strong personality that will make people follow you :)

Do they have girls in them? Because that's the only way to get views afaik.

If it helps, I don't watch Twitch or streams much, or even YouTube videos of people playing League or any game, really. But when I do, I usually prefer people who share insights into playstyles, champions, or tactics I'm not familiar with, people who can show me mechanics to improve my play, or people who can make me laugh and enjoy the video/stream. I know it's probably not the norm, but there are people out there who watch just to watch.

Of course it helps :P It seems they are two types of streamers, thoses who are watched for their skill/gameplay, and thoses who are watched for their humor/personnality.
