I just finished my latest video which is a Malphite Gameplay vs the Legendary Garen 4 Beads (WTF?). He was only 3 away to summon the great Shenlong (Rofl). Check it out here:
The business with the beads is actually not that rare. riste frequently goes to lane with 3x beads instead of Dorans. The idea is that after the very early levels, the beads actually give more healing, and they can be sold for better return than Dorans. When you killed Garen early, he probably just bought another beads because that was all that he had gold for.
Sorc Secondary on Grasp Garen is standard.
