Download and Replays

I feel that Riot should fix the match history tab to allow us to watch and download replays from past patches. Because I played a match last night with my older brother and he wanted to turn it into a youtube video. But because a new patch came out just 12 hour later I can no longer download nor watch the replay. I do not think this is right and this should be something riot should fix because riot release a new update every other day it feels like. Nor does it make sense that I cant rewatch a game I played less then a day ago...
