If You Want to Win More, Be More Unpredictable - Journey to Master

I feel unpredictability is something that's rarely talked about, and a hugely undervalued skill.

Usually, people play according to certain patterns that are deemed most effective.

These patterns are repeated in pretty much every guide you find on YouTube or read about, either on this subreddit or others.

Because of this, most players are predictable.

The more static your playstyle is, the easier you are to predict; the easier you are to predict, the less likely the chances are of you winning.

Your opponents can easily read you, and that works to your disadvantage.

The willingness to challenge concepts and theories is in my opinion crucial to become a great player.
