For everyone commenting that i was fed. I was the Kayn in this video. I was pretty fed, but not too far ahead. Our team was behind by a lot. I have posted pics to give you the layout of the game when the play happened. As well as the post game scoreboard.

Their K6 is 16-5 and there is no way a K6 could do this to your team. The point is that other Assassins are mostly single target. With the exception of maybe Zed, but even his Q does reduced damage to multiple targets. I've been one shot by many champions when they are ahead. But the entire team shouldn't disappear. Even Kat has to get a good ult channel off and some resets to pull this off.

why do people use a clip of someone whos fed getting a quadrakill to try to claim the champion is overpowered?

its obvious that he is fed, but he isnt the highest level either.

Most videos like this I see, the offending player/champion is like 4+ levels ahead of the entire enemy team. In this one, Kayn is level 14 before the quadra, and the enemies are 12,13,14, and 16 I believe Hecarim was the level 16.

In theory, he shouldn't be THAT much further ahead, but without being able to see items and gold, its hard to say.

All in all, this is probably the best clip I have seen since the apparent differences don't seem to be as large.

EDIT: Also, he is the Kayn in this video. Not one of the opponents.

I'm not complaining. I laughed so hard when this happened. The sad thing is that I play a lot of Kayn and I want him to be nerfed. I know blue Kayn hasn't caught on, but I don't want to be on the receiving end of this.

well but especially Blue Kayn doesn't need a nerf.

You have to consider that you hit your full W Q combo on all of them, while their Armor was shredded by the Baron debuff and you probably had a Lethality Build and were ahead.

They clearly saw you coming and could have easily backed up and dodged your W, from where your main damage comes, especially in Blue form.

When you think of it like that: Would any other ahead Assassin have gotten less in that situation when he gets a free engage like that against enemies that have the Baron AR/MR debuff?

Any Zed Talon or Katarina would have probably also got a quadra if they got a engage like that on 4 stacked and weakened enemies.

The problem is that it was instant. No time to react. With Zed his shadow movement speed is slow compared to Kay.n. The time it takes Talon to jump the wall and just Q is longer than the full Kayn combo. Kats entire ult channel, just her ult, would take longer to pull off.

Sure, they all probably get Quadras, but not instantly with no counterplay.

You can see Kayn coming through the wall, you even have an indicator on the wall, and the W also has a delay.

There clearly was enough counterplay.

They grouped up next to a wall against a champion that's clear strength is striking from walls. That was just stupidly played from them. They basically directly played into your strength.

The counterplay here would be to just stay away from the wall you were in, for example they could have went to the top left side of the pit.

Now if you would have came out like that and they weren't stacked directly in front of you they could have easily killed you.

Even of SA kayn isn't fed he's still pretty powerful in disposing squishy quickly. Riot seemed to have dropped the whole idea of delayed burst with him.

That's exactly the point of this. I've picked up SA Kayn mid recently. And you just farm for mobis and ghostblade, gank bot once to get blue farm, then feed off their squishies until the game ends.

But thats what assassins are supposed to do burst the squishies, his is just instant. And try playing Diana mid item 3285 item 3089 item 3157 item 3135 item 3151 guaranteed one shot any carry with just a Q and R

Diana's R isn't AOE and it takes her Balls time to rotate around to her targets. And her Q is a lot less reliable as an AOE spell because of its arc. And even then, her Q travel time takes longer than this entire combo did, gives enemies more time to react.

3 squishy champions stand on top of each other while an assassin whose burst combo is AoE comes flanking in.

Thanks, I've watched it a few times to see if Hec tanks the first instance of Q or just the swing. If I was jungle I would have went for the Baron steal, but would have missed out on that opportunity. Right place right time.

But Orianna has to be fed, kayn does not. Also, you have time to react to Ori, her ball moves slower than Kayn does. I do get the ultimate Orianna ult though. Those are always sick. And even then, she won't get instant quadra. Will have to finish some off with Q most likely.

I have personally got an instant quadra with Orianna, and I've watched others do it. Like just about every other post in this forum says, its not hard to quadra kill people on just about any champion if you're fed enough.
